The Giant Sleepy Puppy

In case you didn't see it this morning, Channel 5 has posted video of Sarah and I promoting our show (This Saturday at the Atlas!) on the morning news:

Some thoughts about the game we played after the jump:


Because none of us have a green/blue screen in our house, we've never played this game before- I'm not even sure how you could practice it well. That said, it went really well, and I'd love the chance to play it again, or to try the other role in the game.
You can see my expression change when Sarah says 'barking'- up until then, I'd decided I was reporting on babies and teddy bears. My voice is hoarse, and I was trying to make up for that with lots of movement, which I may have overdone. I am proud of the arm gestures- one of them looks very much like I am petting this giant puppy behind me.
Sarah did a great job, both in the game and in speaking with the hosts. She gets stuck with that whenever the morning show has us on, but the reason we keep sending her is because she does such a professional, inteligent job. Were it not for her grabbing me, I absolutely would have choked myself on the microphone cord when I ran to the weather map.
Also, I want to point out what a great job Channel 5 did in setting up the game. They found the video- Sarah and I had no idea what was coming- They knew everything about us and what we did, and understood the game perfectly. When we came in, they covered up the monitors so I wouldn't be able to see anything, and the camera guy slapped the handheld mic into my hand as I ran to the blue screen. It was perfectly run on their part, which is no easy feat. If you see any of them/ know any of them/ are any of them, let them know we appreciate it, and would gladly come back any time.
